Hello!

My name is Finn Moriarty.  I’m currently a junior in high school at Centaurus High School in Boulder, Colorado.  I enjoy writing articles for my school’s newspaper where I’ve been able to explore my interests in journalism and communication.  I’m a passionate athlete myself, earning a varsity letter on the high school tennis team since freshman year, and as a goalie on my hockey team. However, while sports have been an important part of my life, my true passion lies in baseball — whether playing, watching, or analyzing the game.  I’m especially drawn to the analytical side of the game — breaking down player performance, comparing hitters, analyzing pitching statistics, and understanding a team’s overall strategy from a data-driven perspective. My love for the game has only deepened over the years, and I’m committed to furthering my baseball knowledge. My dream is to eventually pursue a career within Major League Baseball, ideally in a role that allows me to combine my passion for the sport with my skills in analysis and communication. Whether it’s in analytics, scouting, or media, I hope to contribute to the game I love in a meaningful way.
